Description

The Tamron 13VG308AS-SQ is a DC auto iris CS-mount lens designed for 1/3-inch CCD cameras. The 3.0 mm focal length gives very wide 77° angle of view. At 8 mm it shows 34°. Aspherical lens elements limit distortion and provide corner to corner sharpness. Its very fast f/1.0 maximum aperture allows it to be used in low light areas for color images. The auto iris control cable is complete with a 4-pin square connector and the camera is ready for operation right from the box.

Aspherical Lens Elements
Tamron uses aspherical elements in the lens for improved overall sharpness. It reduces distortion and shows greater corner to corner sharpness than conventional lens designs.

Wide Ranging Views
The 3.0 mm setting will display a wide 77° horizontal angle view. This is useful in small space applications. At full telephoto 8.0 mm the lens shows 34° horizontal angle view.

DC Auto Iris
The lens uses DC auto iris to control auto exposure. The lens circuitry evaluates lighting conditions and controls the iris. The camera provides power. The iris cable is complete with 4-pin square connector.

Locking Mechanism
This lens has manual settings for zoom and focus. You can lock down these rings preventing unwanted shifts in desired settings.
